Skyline GT-R R34 Announced!

“The moment it made its first appearance in Downtown Miami, Brian O’Conner’s legendary Skyline GT-R (R34) became an instant movie icon. 1. Off-topic, but FYI in case you’re still keeping track of such things. I’m doing the DeLorean, Ecto-1, and Enterprise-D builds. I had been doing them through Eaglemoss until they had a total existence failure and started over with Fanhome to incorporate mods from the beginning. I have now gotten emails from Fanhome about both the DeLorean and Enterprise, saying “Unfortunately, due to logistical issues, this adventure will experience a delay.” On their website, I get an alert saying “Due to the increased demand, we’re expecting some delays with the delivery of your package.”

Probably nothing to worry about but, after the experience with Eaglemoss, this is raising “Here We Go Again” alarms. If the same thing happens with Fanhome, I think I’m done with partworks; no point if the company is never around long enough to finish the build.

    1. There were signs that EM had problems before they actually failed. It may feel the same, but Fanhome/DeAgostini is in a much better financial situation than EM ever was. Stock delays are fairly normal in partworks as there are many factors involved – I wouldn’t put too much worry into that.

  2. Over here in Australia we have access to very little in the way of partworks, so we need to import them from different Countries, Deagostini in Japan has already started the release of the Nisan Skyline, and currently i am up to issue 14 of the build, looking good so far and no problems.

    1. Awesome! I am looking forward to building it. Trying to decide if I should create a whole new site or save some time/effort/costs and host the build on my existing site, alongside the R35.
