In Stages 83-86 of our Enterprise D build, we add even more Deck Panels to our lower saucer but we also bring together much of the Battle Section!
I was recently asked if I could share the window lighting pattern I have been using on my Enterprise D build to match the 4-foot studio model. As I originally created them on paper, I needed to convert them to a easily consumable digital version. I hope I was successful in creating this GUIDE for you all!
It has been almost one year since Eaglemoss/HeroCollector went bankrupt and took our Enterprise D partwork build with them. Thankfully, Fanhome went out of their way to resume the subscriptions. Now that Enterprise D build has now officially gone live on Fanhome’s websites in the USA, UK, and Germany, I am getting back to writing articles again on this site!
In our first stages back of our now-Fanhome Enterprise D, Stages 59-62, we assemble and install our first lower Deck Panels with lighting, complete our port Warp Nacelle, and begin work on the Battle Section!
Model Remodel Update: As I was building two Enterprise D partworks, over the last year off I took my main build and heavily modified it with my Model Remodel. Therefore, going forward, I will do my best in each stage article to present both stock and modified ways of how these models are built.
In Part Five of my Enterprise D Model Remodel journey, we complete the electronics and lighting of the Saucer section. This includes adding custom light circuits, attaching our electronics to custom 3D-printed mounts, and finishing up the rest of the wiring. I also added another Arduino page about how to add sounds/music to our project!
In Part Four of my Enterprise D Model Remodel adventure, we fully modify the Battle Section Neck and I share more information about using Arduino including Custom Functions, Booleans, Dimming LEDs, and how to switch high currents. I also included a third Lighting Test video which shows some new features I have added as well as a sneak preview of the mobile app I have been working on!
