The Mercedes 300 SL build is all messed up. Eaglemoss is sending me future issues, phases out of order, etc. Still, I was able to complete Phases 52-55 and make a little bit of forward progress.
I haven’t seen any Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing parts for about five months. But, in the last 11 days, I have seen two shipping notifications for more packs. Unfortunately, it looks like they are still missing Phases 52-59 and 61 as they skipped them and shipped Phases 51, 60, and 62-67. Seems like they are not able to get their hands on the main body parts…
The shipping for this Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing is all out of whack and I am receiving the parts out of order. Unfortunately, this means I was only able to build Phase 51 where we install the Control Circuit Board.
Our Mercedes 300 SL build is on hold again, awaiting Phases 51 and on.
We install the luggage and the Dashboard into our Mercedes 300 SL in Phases 47-50.
Phases 43-46 of the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing contain bits for the Luggage Compartment and some Firewall struts!
With Phases 39-42 of the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, we are all about building Seats and installing carpeting!
I went a bit nuts this session and completed three issues of the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. This includes Phases 27-38 and has us adding engine bay details, the Driveshaft and Axle Guards, the Firewall and its many bits, the Radiator, and starting on the gorgeous red interior Floor Pan!
Unfortunately, we are on hold with the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing build. Stock availability problems means this model is going to have to wait until next June.
Phases 23-26 of the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing include the rest of the rear drivetrain!
