In Stages 67-74 (Pack 9) of our 1:8 scale Lamborghini Miura build, we install both front Brake Discs/Calipers, the Front Crossbar, the Radiator with Cooling Fans and Hoses, the Spare Wheel, and a bunch of great details to our Front Frame assembly!

K.I.T.T. Stages 27-30
In Stages 27-30 of our 1:8 scale Knight Rider K.I.T.T. build, we do some great things. We finish up the Turbine engine and install it, as well as extend the Chassis to its full length and attach the Battery Compartment. But, I did run into problems when attaching all the hoses in Stages 28-29. Thankfully, with some persistence and research, I think we figured them all out!
Titanic Issues 33-38
Pack 7 containing Issues 33-38 of our Agora Models 1:200 scale RMS Titanic involves finishing up the starboard main Engine, building the Gearbox assembly, then mounting both Engines and testing their operation. I really enjoyed these issues and all of the extra paint work!
2nd Optimus Prime Announced!
It looks like we are not going to have one, but TWO large-scale Transformers Optimus Prime partwork build-up models to choose from. It began with the 1:8 scale Gen 1 Optimus Prime from Agora Models announced back in September 2022 with an April 2023 release date. Now, out of nowhere, the Fanhome US and UK sites are advertising a new 1:10 scale Optimus Prime from the Michael Bay movie universe!
Standing 23 inches tall, this Fanhome Optimus Prime will feature lights and full articulation. However, it is not known if it can fully transform.
It appears this is the same model that was tested in France under the Altaya brand about a year ago. That test must have been successful as Fanhome is asking prospective customers to sign up to be notified when this build launches in full around June 2023.
TIP: If you click the ‘Notify Me’ button on the Fanhome website, make sure to type in your email address manually (do not use autofill or copy/paste). Spam prevention will block the other methods. If it goes through correctly, you should receive a confirmation email almost immediately.

I love that we all have choices in our small partwork market, and between these two models, I am hoping that the Transformers fans out there will be able to build one or both of these Optimus Prime partworks!
Iron Man Issues 71-74

Miura Stages 59-66
In Stages 59-66 (Pack 8) of our 1:8 scale Lamborghini Miura build, we add a few details to the Front Frame and assemble the entire front double wishbone suspension!
New Partwork Distribution Service!
- Have you ever wanted a subscription partwork build-up from the United Kingdom (UK) but it was not available in your home country?
- Have you tried those expensive package forwarding services and ended up paying too much?
Well, our friend Ian Campbell over at Partwork Upgrades has put a solution together to help us all! His new Partwork Distribution service can receive your UK-based monthly subscription packages and reship them to you anywhere in the world. His companies have shipped more than 4,000 packages since 2021.
To keep the costs as transparent as possible, he simply charges from £5.99 plus the best-possible shipping rate from UK Royal Mail for each monthly shipment.
Signing up for this service is a simple 2-step process. When you subscribe to your favorite UK partwork from any distributor (Agora, Hachette, DeAgostini, Fanhome, etc.), you use his forwarding address and phone number – you use your own billing address for the payment information. Once you have a subscription number, you register your information on the Partwork Distribution website. That’s it!
An account is maintained at Partwork Distribution for you to pay for the forwarding services as the shipments are processed. This account is billed automatically, but can be topped up as needed.
If you want to forward multiple partworks, a separate account at Partwork Distribution is needed for each one.
I have seriously been wanting to build the Batmobile Tumbler from Hachette and this new service from Ian can make that happen. I highly recommend checking to see if Partwork Distribution is right for you!
